Special announcement

If the owner of a certain site that may or may not exist should be reading this, he or she may or may not wish to check line 46 of a PHP feature that was installed today around 7 AM UTC, since an unknown function may or may not be returning a fatal error.

That is all.

TK is spreading hyperbolic threats around to certain people, which includes specific accusations of questionable legal status. He is really being quite harassing.

  2. 2 Blocked from Conservapedia May 16, 2007 at 3:38 pm

Hi, something strange is happening at Conservapedia. A kind of Night of the Crystals, a grand scale epuration. Official reason: sock vandalism.

  3. 3 Leopeo May 16, 2007 at 3:40 pm

The comment above was from me, user Leopeo at Conservapedia. My user page and my user talk page were deleted. Same happened to Timppeli. TimS also was deleted as well as others.

  4. 4 Leopeo May 16, 2007 at 3:42 pm

Now Human is gone too. He and Timppeli were Icewedge gang, sure.

  5. 5 Leopeo May 16, 2007 at 3:47 pm

Rob Pommer, JLindon, Ian St. John, all gone in a matter of minutes.

  6. 6 me May 16, 2007 at 3:53 pm

    He booted lots

  7. 7 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 5:30 pm

Wow, if they kick out all the non-lunatics, the site won’t be nearly half as much fun to watch any more. Pity.

  8. 8 Anonymous May 16, 2007 at 6:07 pm

There was a post earlier too that Hoji is accused of being part of the icewedge gang.

The best though, is not only are they saying sock vandal, they are using the term “terrorist” LOL

  9. 9 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 6:10 pm

They don’t know anything about Ice’s YEC friend.

  10. 10 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 6:11 pm

Looks like ColinR lost sysop status and got booted out entirely, apparently for getting involved in the whole Neanderthal mess.

  11. 11 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 6:16 pm

Either that or maybe they think he is a friend of ICE. They keep getting things wrong.

  12. 12 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 6:22 pm

Heh. Not being directly involved (more of a fan of the rational gang), I’ve been seeing some awfully clever, and dare I say literate, stuff on the part of some of the “Icewedges”. I expect there’s a lot that the Gang the Couldn’t Think Straight is getting wrong.

Oh, and it looks like CPAdmin1 might be next on the block. Such drama!

  13. 13 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 6:26 pm

The funny thing is that they think its not just immoral but illegal to disagree with them. Paranoia will be their undoing. Vandals have nothing to do with it. It is the unpopularity of their positions, and the suspicion in each other it engenders. It seems that TK, Andy, and Ed are the only ones they know they can trust. Even CPAdmin1 is under fire. Who’s next, Phil Rayment?

  14. 14 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 6:31 pm

Well, the fact is, once the “liberals” are gone, then the goalposts get moved back and those who were moderate before will be considered “liberals”. I’ve been wondering all along how long it would take to eat their own.

  15. 15 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 6:31 pm

And there are still a bunch of socks posting over there. How come it’s obvious to me, an auslander, who the socks are, but THEY dont know?

  16. 16 Leopeo May 16, 2007 at 6:44 pm

Does anybody know what is going on there? For sure I wasn’t a sock or a vandal and I wasn’t the most ‘liberal’ of the editors. Not part of any cabal either.

Is TK gone crazy or does he have an ‘agenda’ or is it just their way to get rid of the ‘liberals’?

  17. 17 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 6:47 pm

Basically, he thinks there is a vast conspiracy to destroy CP, led by Icewedge, and centered around a certain website. He thinks that this constitutes some sort of federally-banned terrorism, and they are all going after each other.

  18. 18 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 6:56 pm

Heh. RobS seems to be having all sorts of delusional fun now that there are fewer people to contradict his conspiracy theories. Watch for the loopy factor to spiral out of control soon.

By the way, what is this “certain website”? It sounds interesting. My email is in the “Contact” section of my site, if you don’t want to post publically.

  19. 19 Leopeo May 16, 2007 at 6:56 pm

Would you care to give a hint to find that website? Or do I find it if I look for Icewedge? (by the way, I am not part of that conspiracy)

  20. 20 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 7:24 pm

Might have to hold off for now on that. Sorry. I’ll let you know.

  21. 21 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 7:26 pm

Fair enough. Mostly curiosity on my part.

  22. 22 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 7:28 pm

Curiosity is officially discouraged by Assfly et. al.

  23. 23 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 7:38 pm

…which is why I never made an entry there.

Mind you, another reason is that I have so little to contribute to a site like that, unless you think they might like a series of articles about comic books and similar subjects…

  24. 24 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 7:41 pm

    Also officially discouraged as “non-encyclopedic”

  25. 26 Todd Larason May 16, 2007 at 7:45 pm

I’m not sure how long the good will will last between Ed and Andy.

    See:
    Andy’s explanation of
    this edit
, and Ed’s response, so far unanswered.

Then see this old Wikipedia edit: Ed is a follower of Rev. Moon. He’s started a cp [[Unification Church]] article — will be interesting to see how that plays out.

  26. 27 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 7:55 pm

    Check your email.

  27. 28 Leopeo May 16, 2007 at 7:57 pm

Fair enough for me too. By the way, I am still under the delusion that they will sort it out, let me back in as an editor, with a public apology by TK. Well, at least I asked for that.

  28. 29 lanfranc May 16, 2007 at 8:04 pm

They might. You should probably expect there will be a fair amount of begging and repentance involved, though.

  29. 30 hyperbole May 16, 2007 at 8:07 pm

Right now, TK is too paranoid to undo anything at all. And with Ed coming out as a Moonie…well…and with what might happen to CPAdmin1, PhilR, and Hoji…

  30. 31 BarfBarrel May 16, 2007 at 10:59 pm

Oh, Phil is safe, so is Hoji, for he is the one who showed us where you were.

The place you guys are looking for is: http://www.rationalwiki.com/Main_Page

    Cheers!

  31. 32 hyperbole--notsock May 16, 2007 at 11:04 pm

Hmm..i cant seem to get in there

  32. 33 hyperbole--notsock May 16, 2007 at 11:05 pm

I wonder if they have naked barn dances or something.

  33. 34 BarfBarrel May 16, 2007 at 11:06 pm

    You have to logon.

That is just how open and honest they are!

    Cheer!

  34. 35 lanfranc May 16, 2007 at 11:07 pm

Hello, TK. Good to see you around.

  35. 36 sicko May 16, 2007 at 11:07 pm

You are one seriously disturbed dude who can’t spell.

  36. 37 notsock May 16, 2007 at 11:10 pm

Seems like a lot of vandalism is going on at CP despite the dismantling of the infamous “Icewedge Conservapedia Krazy Youth” (ICKY) Conspiracy.

  37. 38 Salad Lover May 16, 2007 at 11:16 pm

CP has a new, very informative article here: http://www.conservapedia.com/Lettuce

  38. 39 Kelseigh May 16, 2007 at 11:18 pm

Why does TK always come off like a seriously inept guy trying to sound cool?

  39. 40 Salad Lover May 16, 2007 at 11:21 pm

That is his genius…lulling everyone into a false sense of absurdity.

  40. 41 BarfBarrel May 17, 2007 at 12:20 am

I wonder how you all missed another Sysop being butchered?

    Cheers!

  41. 42 Kelseigh May 17, 2007 at 12:54 am

You do realize that when you get rid of your supposed enemies, that means you lose. Just curious.

  42. 43 AmesG May 17, 2007 at 2:08 am

Human, Horace, Flippin, etc., and I still haven’t been perma-banned. What “evidence” have they uncovered?

  43. 44 Leopeo May 17, 2007 at 10:03 am

    Here you go, AmesG…

And TK, care to expand why you blocked me?

  44. 45 Flippin May 17, 2007 at 3:52 pm

Just jumping in once I saw this. How is it possible for one person to come off so badly. I think TK is probably a very sad person–so much so I feel sorry for him. A lot of anger and pent up frustration in those posts. Anyway, I feel kind of “free” being out of there. It was fun to be part of the “resistance,” sort of like living my own Camusesque story, but I’ll digress.

See you folks at the new place–oh, and call me Zero.

  45. 46 Flippin May 17, 2007 at 3:57 pm

Barfbarrel, though. So oddly fitting it is uncanny. One wonders if we will be “infiltrated” by such churlishness.

  46. 47 hyperbole May 17, 2007 at 5:39 pm

I dont feel sorry for him, and he can kiss Hueys ugly white butt.

  47. 48 Flippin May 17, 2007 at 6:00 pm

Maybe it isn’t “sorry” exactly, but more like a kind of pity. It must be awful to be that wound up about things.

    hmmm…

Man, I could go for a big sandwich.

  48. 49 hyperbole May 17, 2007 at 7:50 pm

Yes, I agree…a sandwich would be nice.

  49. 50 human May 19, 2007 at 10:36 pm

You know would have been funny? If those at RW had been fast enough, they could have created a simuluser intended to be some “targetted” person at CP, and gotten them banned for being on RW. They’d have needed a user page with the same name, and bit of a comment trail, but it might have worked.

It’s probably too late to tell them that Raschlafly is with us, but in secret…

    PS, Hi ToolKit šŸ™‚

  50. 51 Kelseigh May 19, 2007 at 10:48 pm

How does one get involved, or at least get more detail on, this RationalWiki thing?

  51. 52 human May 22, 2007 at 1:53 am

Exciting news… the RW 404 has changed to a directory empty except for a cgi-bin/. That’s a good sign – C & T must be rearranging the old foundation stones as we idly chatter…
